What languages and dialects do you cover?
Ethiopian Amharic ↔ UK English. I also work comfortably with Amharic spoken in the Eritrean and diaspora communities.
Are you a qualified interpreter?
Yes. I am professionally trained, hold interpreting certifications, am DBS-checked and work to the NRPSI code of professional conduct.
How much notice do you need?
I can often cover urgent NHS, legal and Home Office assignments within 24–48 hours, and standard bookings any time the same or following week.
Where in the UK do you travel?
I am based in Middlesbrough and travel UK-wide. Remote interpreting is available anywhere in the world over telephone, MS Teams, Zoom, Skype or TeamViewer.
How is confidentiality handled?
Every assignment is strictly confidential. I follow GDPR and the NRPSI code, and am happy to sign client NDAs and trust-specific data agreements.
How are sessions priced?
Pricing depends on mode (on-site, telephone or video), session length and location. I provide a clear written quote before any booking is confirmed.
